Our Volunteers

Interns smiling while working as a team

Ages 15-21

The majority of our volunteers were once campers themselves and eagerly return to serve as interns. Typically aged 15-21, these dedicated and enthusiastic individuals share a deep passion for Tropinka and its mission.

Coming from various parts of Canada, these local volunteers help keep Camp Tropinka clean, organized, and welcoming. They participate alongside campers in plays, diverse activities, and the grand finale Banquette held at the end of each week. Our interns also have daily sessions dedicated to Bible study as part of their enriching experience.

Learning opportunities

Despite their busy schedules and structured hours, our volunteers continuously develop and refine a wide range of valuable skills, including leadership, teamwork, collaboration, time management, problem-solving, outdoor and environmental awareness, as well as networking and social abilities.

We are committed to providing recommendation letters for our interns, acknowledging their remarkable contributions and hard work during their time with us. These letters serve as a testament to their dedication and are intended to support them in pursuing future job opportunities and endeavors.
