Sports and Skills Camp

Program Overview

This camp is exactly what its name suggests: a strong focus on sports and basic life-skills training.

When you register, you’ll choose the sport your child wants to train in. Each day, campers will spend 5–6 hours working with a professional coach in their selected sport. Our planned sports options are soccer, boxing, and gymnastics, with the possibility of adding more in the future. Campers may register at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level.

We will run two separate weeks:

Week 7: Ages 14–16

Sports and skills:

Boxing

Gymnastics

Soccer

Bootcamp (a combination of canoeing, hiking, field sports and leadership skills)

Week 8: Ages 10–13

Sports and skills:

Boxing

Gymnastics

Soccer

In addition to sport training, all campers will participate in two required program components: swimming and Bible study. Life-skills training is also required for everyone and will include practical basics such as simple mechanical skills, construction tasks, cooking, and cleaning.

This program is designed for campers who are motivated to work hard in their chosen sport. Participation in all components is mandatory. We also expect campers to demonstrate respectful, well-mannered behavior, follow the rules, and be punctual. Compared to our usual camp, this program will involve less supervision, so campers will need a higher level of self-discipline and self-regulation to keep up with the structured schedule and workload.
